Process – 36 weeks deposit to key*
Step: 1 Initial Consultation
Meet with one of our Package Specialist to discuss your lifestyle, location and even loan repayment options. Your Package Specialist will then help match a shortlist of the most suitable options, and accompany you on a site inspection of the lots identified.
Step 2: Package Selection
A deposit secures your land and home package. We then have a registered surveyor confirm the levels and house location, so we can prepare a final quotation for your approval.
Step 3: Accept Quotation & Exchange land
On presentation of your fixed price quotation we'll finalise any variations and answer any queries that you may have. The remainder of the house and land deposits are then required. After this your Solicitor/Conveyancer will exchange land contracts, once your loan is approved.
Step 4: Council Application
The drafting department prepares architectural plans for your consent. They are then sent to council for approval.
Step 5: Land Settlement
Depending on your land selection, settlement is usually required in as little as 6 weeks after exchange. Congratulations you are now the proud owners of a brand new address.
Note: The settlement date will depend on your land selection and is set out in the land contract. Your Package Specialist will advise of the likely date right from the start. Your first mortgage repayment is usually due one month from this date.
Step 6: Colour Selection
Make your house a home with your selection of colours and materials. An experienced colour consultant will assist you with the finishing touches.
Step 7: Building Agreement
Your Allworth Homes' Customer Service Officer will contact you to arrange a time to sign the building contract. You'll need to bring with you proof of finance and have settled on the land.
Step 8: Commence Construction
After council and other approvals, construction will commence. Watch as your dream house takes shape.
Step 9: Completion
On completion of your new home, you will conduct a final hand over inspection and arrange for the final payment. Call the removalist, chill the champagne and collect the keys, it's time to move into your brand new home.
*36 weeks deposit to key’ includes a construction time (contract period) of 15 weeks and is subject to Council, developer (where applicable) and Statutory Authority approval timeframes.
